Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week
Oh, Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week, the Super Bowl of NYC Fashion is upon us and I can hardly wait. The latest trends for clothes, hair and makeup will be pranced upon New York City lofts, clubs, hotels and of course Lincoln Center.
There will be a plethora of designers, both up and coming and fashion history staples. I attempt to stop my mouth from watering as I think of what Ralph Lauren will present and I am on edge thinking how Donna Karan will wow us this season. Both are fashion mainstays yet seem to always remain relevant to current looks and styles.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion week is approaching, Feb.7th -Feb.14th, so in my opinion you should find your most vintage outfit. If you must, raid mom and dads high school and college clothes and really make a statement this year with a classic and timeless piece. The big frumpy 80s sweater with a snake skin or animal print belt to cinch the waist. Oh please someone wear this and Facebook and Tweet it for the world to see. Pair it with some combats boots and a huge clutch bag and be comfortable and fashion forward for any event Fashion Week may throw your way.
After parties are sure to deliver exciting and famous guests. Check Joan Smalls and I at last years Fashion Week... She was such a doll!!!
NYC has always been a center for Fashion so let us all embrace a week set aside to glorify what every New Yorker born or emigrated exemplifies on a daily basis from head to toe. True, relentless,and real Fashion.
