I Want To Keep Warm But I Need To Use My Fingers!!!!!
Fingerless gloves are one of the greatest ideas since sliced bread. I can bitterly recall time and time again having to take off my gloves in the blistering cold so that I could participate in some daily function. Whether it be looking for some change for my morning breakfast or looking for my metrocard in hurry my gloves would ruin everything. Lets not forget having to text or even answer the phone I just want to communicate without freezing and theres is no way to do that with those furry fingertips!!! Than i noticed these bad boys:

Its getting cold but I still want to PARRTTYY!!!!
A few simple accesories can make your night hot no matter how cold it is outside. Living in NY its annoying to club hop with a cute lil black dress and frost bite!!! I like to pair sexy leggings with diffrents patterns and designs with a cute mini dress. My legs are warm but Im still super sexy for the club. A cute ankle booty is a must have so get at least 3 pair if you love the nightlife. I love my booties from bakers they match with everything they are sexy and keep my toes warm.
My friend Ashley recently got a pair as well and loves them. Cute shoes make everything look good and with these you cant go wrong. Do you wanna keep warm but hate to lug a huge coat into the club??? Try a fitted blazer super cute and simple.

I am obessed with a cat eye a la Beyonce in VideoPhone.
It defines sexy and looks good with a neutral or bold lip. I love it. There are so many ways to rock la cat eye also, so I could never run out places to adorn the feline aura. The only problem I was facing was finding the right black liner that would give me precison, wouldnt smudge and would be super sexy black. This is when a friend suggested liquid gel liner. I went to MAC and sampled the black gel eye liner color called black track. I am in current eye liner heaven!!!!

I love my bff!!!, moving from North Carolina last year and living on a strict budget has lead him to some of the best and cheapest food spots in the NYC area. Last night I was craving Spanish food and he suggested a small eatery in Queens named Elena's, opened super late to support my after hour craving and serving some of the most flavorul food I have ever tasted.
My favorite food of all time is soup!, so the sopa de pollo was my first choice. For $6.00 I got a large bowl of perfection. Filled to the brim with chicken, yuca, potatoes,carrots, fresh cilantro and yams I was pretty full but yearned for more. Next was ensalada de aguacate or avocado salad, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers and of course avocado drizzled with homeade vinagrette dressing was amazing but after a few bites I put that aside to enjoy with my main dish.
I have come to the clear and obvious conclusion that you cannot mess up shrimp during cooking. Shrimp is easy and quick to prepare its virtually impossible to destroy it. So I figured when out and about trying new resturants always order the shrimp and you can't be too disappointed. Therefore, I decided on the camarones en salsa de ajo or shrimps in garlic sauce. I chose rice and beans and platanoes as my side dishes. They also served all natural juices so I chose a glass of the body friendly papaya.
In no time I was served a wonderful filling dish that couldnt be finished because of my large soup intro and I had not spent $20 bucks .( I love having food for the next day:).) The shrimps were wonderfully seasoned with olives and garlic and the beans served as a gravy for everything I truly enjoyed my meal and even more my money saved. If you are ever in Queens stop by Elena's sit down relax and enjoy the homestyle cooking worth every cent.

Oddly enough I think everyone has heard the crummier the place looks the better the food taste. I have proven this theory time and time again. Chinese, Spanish and Greek spots around neighborhoods in New York in need of an overdue makeover have fancied my palette without regret.
Today I ventured into Alibaba's, a small mom and pop resturant in Valley Stream that sells some of the best Greek food I have ever tasted. An option of lamb,beef or chicken gyro is available. I chose the customary lamb and I was very satisfied. Loaded with tons of meat, lettuce, tomato, hot sauce and extra white sauce please ( what is white sauce its so damn good,yum) I was in gyro heaven. The gyros are served with homeade fries sliced thick enough not to be called potato chips and are fried fresh on the spot. Kebabs, burgers and lamb skewers are just a few of the various delicious menu items available. So if your ever in Valley Stream drop by you wont regret any of the hearty and delightful dishes.
